Bill Blanchard, one of our Business Development Executives, will become President of the Board at Contact Community Services next year. Bill has been a member of the Board for the past 5 years, including serving on the Executive Committee for the past year in the role of Vice President of the Board.

Contact Community Services, Inc. is a multi-faceted organization that supports the social, emotional, behavioral and mental health of children, youth, and adults. They deliver this support through Crisis and Suicide Prevention, Student Programming, Teacher Training, Mental Health Training and Community Resources. They began in 1971 as a 24-hour telephone counseling and crisis hotline staffed entirely by volunteers. It has been operating continuously since then. During this time, volunteers have been responding to calls about suicide, abuse, depression, relationships, financial and job worries, family issues, sexuality issues and much more.
