At VIP, our team consistently strives to go above and beyond to make a positive impact on our community in many ways! Recognizing their outstanding contributions, we are thrilled to introduce a new employee award – The VIPEE Award!
The VIPEE Award, represented by a golden pint, is awarded to individuals or groups who demonstrate unwavering commitment to enhancing our community, fostering camaraderie among colleagues, and embodying VIP’s culture through exceptional actions.
We proudly celebrated Kayla VanBenschoten, Director of Property Management, and Lindsay Shapero, Project Controls Manager, as the inaugural recipients of the VIPEE Award. Their dedication is shown through their active involvement in Book Buddies, a program through the United Way of Central New York. Book Buddies pairs community volunteers with students in grades K-3 from the Syracuse City School District, dedicating an hour each week during the school year to enhance the students’ reading skills.
The golden pint, serving as a symbol of our employees’ dedication to the community and overall character, is versatile in its use. Employees are encouraged to showcase their achievements by using the pints in creative ways like candy jars, plant pots, and more! Or of course using it as drinkware!
As our team’s strong involvement in the community continues to grow, the gold VIP pints will become a common sight around the office. This small yet meaningful token of appreciation is just one way we express gratitude to our incredible team for their contributions to our community!
