Feldmeier Equipment | Manufacturing Expansion | Design-Build
Work is under way on a 70,000 SF expansion to Feldmeier Equipment’s 125,000 SF facility that was completed by VIP in 2017. VIP’s in-house concrete team is currently on-site pouring footings and foundations. The project is expected to be completed in Fall of 2025.
Mohawk Valley EDGE | Industrial Flex Space | Design-Build
Steel is officially in the ground at Mohawk Valley EDGE’s 60,000 SF Industrial Flex Space at the Marcy Nanocenter Campus in Utica! The building, constructed on a strategic piece of land within the advanced manufacturing campus, is part of a larger initiative to expand the region’s semiconductor manufacturing capabilities and attract and accommodate supply chain companies.
ELG | Partial Roof Replacement & Facility Renovation | Design-Build
Our teams are finishing up the renovation of ELG’s existing Pre-Engineered Metal Building, including a partial roof replacement and interior renovations that include offices, breakroom, locker rooms and restrooms, as well as new LED lighting throughout, power for new process equipment, and exhaust for the process area.
Food Bank of CNY | Warehouse & Office Addition | Design-Build
The Food Bank of CNY warehouse and office expansion is nearly complete! The project accommodates an expanded volunteer area, additional cool and dry storage, as well as additional and updated office space and amenities for staff. VIP has been working with the Food Bank since an original facility retrofit in 2011. VIP had the chance to check out the Food Bank’s new volunteer in the new addition as part of United Way’s Day of Caring. Read more here.
Anoplate | Manufacturing Addition | Design-Build
VIP is finalizing a 24,000 SF expansion at Anoplate’s Syracuse campus. The new facility includes several features designed to accommodate and optimize Anoplate’s specific manufacturing processes, such as the absence of interior columns for more flexible space utilization, minimizing the amount of exposed steel, and the use of innovative materials like Hi-R-H concrete masonry units, which improve energy efficiency and structural integrity.
Bluefors (Formerly Cryomech) | Manufacturing Addition | Design-Build
Bluefors’ (formerly Cryomech) expanded Syracuse manufacturing and office facility is wrapping up! The 35,000 SF space is an addition to the original 75,000 SF facility designed and built by VIP and completed in 2020. Work on the manufacturing and office expansions is finishing up while renovations to the existing interior space are expected to be completed early next year.
Kris-Tech Wire | Manufacturing Addition | Design-Build
Kris-Tech Wire’s new 75,000 SF manufacturing expansion just recently wrapped up this summer. The project marks the 3rd expansion completed by VIP since the original facility was completed in 2017. Stay tuned for the finished photo reveal!
