Welch Allyn has long been recognized as an industry leader in providing extensive product orientation and training, holding true to the initial company philosophy that employees could not successfully sell medical products if they did not know how to use them. Today, Welch Allyn continues to be recognized worldwide as a leader in the production of highly specialized medical equipment.
Until the creation of the William Noah Allyn International Center for Training and Development, the company had no central location to come together and discuss product developments and engage in training. Welch Allyn felt it needed to develop a facility that would accommodate any type of gathering from the smallest of private meetings to conferences involving hundreds of people.
The conference center is an award-winning design reminiscent of a rustic Adirondack lodge with its timber framing, expansive outdoor areas, soaring windows, and intricate stone masonry work, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. It is equipped with today’s most sophisticated training tools and technologies, including high-speed Internet access, state-of-the-art video conferencing, a 250-seat lecture hall, executive board room, training facilities and more.
