The Rosamond Gifford Zoo is a national leader in animal care, research, conservation, and endangered species. In order to continue their mission, the zoo and Onondaga County engaged VIP Architectural Associates and IPD Engineering to design a state-of-the-art animal health clinic that meets the Association of Zoos and Aquarium (AZA) accreditation. The project includes new labs, exam rooms, operating spaces, and holding tanks. Our team worked collectively through every phase of the project from initial project kickoff through conceptual design and test fits, to construction documents, bidding, and construction administration.
