Congratulations to Chuck Wallace, our new President of VIP Development Associates, Inc.! Chuck has been an essential member of the VIP Development team for 13 years; he started as the head of property management, was quickly promoted to Vice President of Development, and ultimately President. Chuck has been crucial to the success of many VIP Development properties, notably the Pike Block downtown mixed-use building, Cryomech’s manufacturing facility, the Post Standard building redevelopment, and 1304 Buckley Road’s medical offices. As President of VIP Development, Chuck will focus on strategic planning, business development, project financing, and leading future development projects.
Chuck succeeds the founder of VIP Development, Charlie Wallace, who will now serve as the President Emeritus of Development and remain integral to ensure a successful transition. Charlie started VIP’s development division in 1984 when Owens-Illinois partnered with VIP to build two million square feet of commercial distribution space around the country. Charlie also spearheaded dozens of other developments, including manufacturing, healthcare, commercial, and housing facilities.
