Kris-Tech Wire, a leading copper and aluminum wire manufacturer in Rome, NY, needed to expand – and hired VIP to design and build a new facility to accommodate their growth.

VIP began the design-build project by leading a comprehensive site selection process and assisting with orchestrating economic development incentives to help with the capital expense. Once the site was selected, VIP’s architecture, engineering, and construction team worked with Kris-Tech to design a 50,000sf manufacturing facility incorporating workflow efficiencies and advanced technologies to foster increased production and future expansion capabilities.

Shortly after the completion of Kris-Tech’s manufacturing facility, VIP began working on an expansion that added 26,000 SF of warehouse space, followed by an office expansion. Kris-Tech is currently undergoing another expansion, with VIP providing design-build services for the 74,791 SF structure, which is a pre-engineered metal building.
